Traditional games

We enjoyed our Traditional Games Day. All the teachers organised an activity that children have played in the school yards since the olden days. The games included four square, roll the hoop, egg and spoon races, knuckle bones, marbles and tiddlywinks. The time went by quickly and everyone was involved in the games, we had a great time.     Nice to see the activities that are taking place at Opunake Primary School - I am quite old and I remember playing some of these activities when I was at school, I am sure that your students would have enjoyed the experience and tried different things. I think the Egg and Spoon race looked the most enjoyable was there a particular activity that the students seemed to like the most?

    Wow that looks like so much fun we also have a fun day at the end of the year. And hand ball is a very popular game our school but we use a small hollow ball I hope you had fun and well done on getting your blog up and running.
