Tori and Bonnie Visit Room 1

Today we had special visitors. Tori and Bonnie are from Auckland. Tori goes to a school called Christan School. She has come to Opunake Primary to find out what kids would put in a box to give to other children. The rules for the box are it has to be under 25 dollars and it has to fit in a shoe box. The kids wanted to put:
- lollies
-stationary
- books
in their boxes

  1. Congratulations Tori on your A little bit of happiness project. I was in assembly when the pallet had arrived and Mrs Williamson was reminding the children of your visit and how they had helped you with your research. She then when on to tell the children that you had completed the project and had chosen to pay it forward to our school and our children boy were they surprised! She then got one of the children that you had selected up to open the amazing box and show everyone what was in it and show how some of their suggestions were inside the boxes. There was a lot of ohing and arghing as the contents were revealed. It just goes to show that a little bit of kindness goes a long way to making alot of happiness. Well done to you on such a thoughtful project and i hope Happiness surrounds you for a very long time .
